Flow Monitoring Surveys Analysis - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018

Between March and May 2018 DTM team in Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted a total of 277 surveys with migrants in Velika Kladuša, Bihać, Banja Luka and Sarajevo. The analysis showed that 40 per cent of responded reported completing secondary education and above while 41 per cent of migrants interviewed were employed before the departure. More than half of the migrants arrived in the country between 2 weeks and 3 months prior participating in the survey, almost a quarter of them after having spent one year or more in Serbia, Greece or Turkey. One third of migrants reported Germany as their indended destination country, reasons mainly being related to perceivable better socio-economic conditions. Read more here.
