Regional Resource Management Capacity Building Workshop
More than 20 IOM financial staff from the RO Vienna region gathered in Antalya, Turkey last week for a Regional Resource Management capacity building workshop. The first day was fully assigned to the Ethics and Conduct Office, Office of the Ombudsperson and the Staff Welfare Office to deliver a training on Harassment Prevention. This was the first training initiative of its kind.
The second day focussed on budget preparation with Alberto Brenes (pictured with participants), IOM's Chief of Budget, and on SAP Analytics Cloud.
The remaining two days of the workshop alternated between presentations and video conferences on different topics by facilitators from headquarters, field missions and the Regional Office.
Participants took keen interest and actively contributed with questions, discussions and practical exercises.
