In the second half of 2018, Migrants Presence Monitoring (MPM) team in Turkey conducted Baseline Assessment. During the fieldwork that was conducted between October and December 2018, enumerators and team leaders noted their observations that are compiled and summarized in this report.

Migrants Presence Monitoring (MPM) team in Turkey conducted a first round of Baseline Assessment in Istanbul Province between in the second half of the 2018. The Baseline 2 phase, that involves field data collection was conducted between October and December 2018.
Europe - Refugee and Migrant Children in Europe Overview of Trends (January - December 2018)
Some 30,000 children arrived in Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and Spain between January and December 2018, a 9 per cent drop compared to 2017. A total of 12,700 children were registered as unaccompanied and separated.

Between January and March 2019 a total of 16,526 migrants and refugees arrived in Europe through different land and sea routes. More than a half of migrants and refugees were registered in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria after crossing the Eastern Mediterranean route.
Europe — Mixed Migration Flows to Europe, Quarterly Overview (January - March 2019)
Arrivals in the first quarter of 2019 (16,526) decreased by 60 per cent when compared to the previous reporting period (October – December 2018) when 40,716 were registered and 13 per cent lower than the 18,659 registered in the same period last year.
Europe - Mixed Migration Flows to Europe Monthly Overview (February 2019)
A total of 11,552 migrants and refugees arrived in Europe between January and February 2019, the lowest number reported since 2015 when 12,258 sea and land arrivals were recorded. 52 per cent of individuals arrived through the Western Mediterranean route to Spain.
